Wonder Lab Science Museum in Bloomington

The museum’s mission is to ensure that every individual is provided with amazing opportunities to gain access to the excitement and wonder of science by interacting with various exhibits and programs that spearhead curiosity, enhance exploration, create connections to everyday life and arts while enhancing lifelong learning. In 1995 is when the museum was identified as an incorporated private organization. It was then when a selected group of volunteers decided to provide hands-on science outreach services in various community events. The museum opened its first physical location in 1998, a small space at the iconic Wicks Building located towards the northern side of Bloomington courthouse square.

Currently, the two-story building and garden were dedicated to the public on March 20, 2003. Since it was opened, the museum has hosted more than one million visitors from different parts of the world.
